announcements!

1. Because of the overwhelming amount of submissions I’ve received, I’ve decided to create a separate page for submissions, so they can be posted almost automatically. I have about six hundred waiting to be posted right now, and I just don’t feel comfortable to have survivors waiting the six months it would take for them to be posted on Tumblr. It will also open up the ability for you guys to upload them directly to the site.. We are still fine tuning the details, but it should be up this week. We will be uploading the backlogged photos in batches of one hundred until we’re caught up. As for this blog, it will be photographs that I personally take. Hopefully this makes the process faster for both submissions and photos I’ve taken. Thank you for your patience as I figure out the best situation for everyone.

2. I’ve unfortunately noticed some hateful replies to some of the survivors in the posts. I know that this project brings up painful memories, but I cannot tolerate any malicious comments about survivors. Anyone who does so will be blocked.

3. There are nine hours left for the fundraiser! Thank you to everyone who has donated. I head out on tour on Tuesday, so I will be mailing all prizes in May.

4. Speaking of tour, there are still spots left for the upcoming photo days. You can email projectunbreakable@gmail.com for more info. I will also be doing an exhibit all day on Tuesday, April 10th at Franklin & Marshall in PA and one on  April 25th & 26th at MIT in MA. The reception for MIT will be at 5pm on the 26th, so come say hi :)

5. Happy Saturday! Have a good rest of your weekend. Eat lots of food if you’re celebrating a holiday.

PS: look at this beautiful necklace I received from a survivor today.
