I decided to do this one a little differently. This is an audio clip of Yvonne’s mother sharing the story of her own abuse, which occurred during WWII in Germany. It was the only way she could afford food for her and her mother. You might have to turn up the volume a little bit - and sorry for the background noise… That was Yvonne cleaning up her Christmas decorations :)
I wish Tumblr had a better way to combine a photo with audio..
