Hi everyone,

A doctored photo of mine (where someone replaced what was on the photo with something offensive) is circulating around the internet, and while I do appreciate the effort in shedding light on fat-shaming (which the circulating photo deals with), the most important thing I have to do for this project is protect the people in it. If you see a photo that looks like it was edited to say something different, please do not reblog it. It takes so much courage to be apart of this project, and people sharing it heightens the chance that the survivor will see it. I completely understand the natural inclination to bring attention to it, but I think it’s important to remember that we as activists have to look at the bigger picture and make sure we are not hurting anyone in our journey of changing our society. From now on, if you see a photo that you suspect has been edited, please don’t hesitate to email it to projectunbreakable@gmail.com.

Thanks so much for your time.

Grace

This makes me lose faith in humanity. Who the fuck would go through the process of doctoring a photo of a sexual abuse...
