transforming trauma workshop

Our dear friend Laura van Dernoot Lipsky, author of Trauma Stewardship, still has some space left at her Boston workshop, which discusses the effects of working in trauma (also known as vicarious trauma).

From the Trauma Stewardship Institute website:

Laura will offer a compelling mix of personal insight, cutting edge research, personal stories, and countless New Yorker cartoons to help us understand the cumulative toll of being exposed to suffering over time and gain concrete skills to reconcile it.

Whether you are a nurse, teacher, conservationist, journalist, doctor, police officer, firefighter, community organizer, biologist, or caring for a loved one in need, this day is for you. Participants are welcome from all professional disciplines and life circumstances.

Boston, MA: November 15th - More info

All of us at Project Unbreakable love Laura’s workshops. We hope some of you will be able to go!
